As the organization operating the APWF Knowledge Hub on sanitation, JSC will carry out the following activities.
Networking: In collaboration with international aid agencies, we will build a network of sanitation-related organizations in various countries.
Information Gathering: We will establish a database of sanitation-related information for the Asia-Pacific region and conduct surveys on sanitation improvements in various countries.
Knowledge Dissemination and Information Sharing: We will host international seminars to disseminate the knowledge and experience of developed countries, such as Japan, in the field of sanitation, and to share information and knowledge with developing countries.
Support for International Aid Agencies: We will provide training for sanitation engineers at international aid agencies such as the ADB and JICA, as well as offer advice on project feasibility studies and the selection of appropriate technologies, and introduce experts.
Coordination of Activities with Partner Organizations such as UNICEF and the World Toilet Association
