This 3-day conference will include presentations from keynote speakers as well as a workshop organized by JSC as a side event focusing on “Wastewater Management for Sustainable Cities”, and more specifically about the appropriate wastewater management needed for the sustainable development of growing cities in Asia and the world. This workshop will be a preparatory event of the session that JSC volunteered to organize at the 7th World Water Forum, which will be held in Korea in 2015. It will include speakers from Thailand, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea and Japan, as well as representatives from local governments and ADB. Together, speakers will share their experience, knowledge and issues on policies and reflect on the support measures needed for appropriate wastewater management (including septage/sludge and stormwater management).
