JSC 4th Steering Committee Meeting

On 6 April 2012 in Tokyo took place the 4th meeting of JSC’s Steering Committee. Members from partner organizations, including JICA, UNICEF, the Japan Toilet Labo, the Japan Water Forum, and the Japan Global Center for Urban Sanitation; Steering Committee Members from JSC’s member organizations; and observers from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), and the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) of Japan attended this meeting organized annually in April.

During this year’s meeting, the minutes of the 3rd Steering Committee Meeting were reported, commented and approved, as well as the Fiscal Year 2011 Activity Report and the Fiscal Year 2012 Business Plan, which are based on the four main goals of JSC's activities as a Knolwedge Hub:

1. Networking
2. Information gathering
3. Knowledge dissemination and information sharing
4. Support to international donor organizations
